A good start, I like the line of action, but the lack of real values makes it really flat, I would like to see more darks and lights to push the perspective. And the outlining kind of ruins it for me too, if you were going to shade this then use the shading to represent the edges, it's a very good sketch to start the next step on but doesn't feel finished.

Dammit, I was going to throw some value with photoshop but I wasn't sure about adding more digital stuff than the little I already added D: I'm bad at making decisions. Do you think I'm still in time to do that?

Wow this is a great piece, I watched Heidi as an adult because it is my girlfriend's childhood favorite show. I shall show her this immediately

Actually

Looks feminine to me, three things that I don't like are the ear, which seems very small and high up, the way the face is structured through the shading as in it's just not appealing, and the lack of emotion on the face/how the lips are pursed but that is a choice too I suppose.

As far as the style, if you are working in a style inspired by Mucha the linework is a bit too thick around the body, and from the like two things I remember seeing from him which were towards the end of his career, he tended to line in the colors of the fabrics and such with a lot of detail on the face and neck with varying degrees throughout and I think he did a bit more with facial expressions and body language.

Though in general I think you're amazing, this is probably not my favorite but I do see Mucha's style in it so you succeed there, the other reviews are pretty dumb so there's also that

Nice, solid

The way the lighting is structured kind of makes the Silver Surfer more prominent then Galactus I think. I rather like how you depicted Galactus, but the Silver Surfer's pose and anatomy seems off and the sky scrapers on the left as well as the surfer seem pasted on rather than part of the piece.

Looks good

The foremost leaves are nice and detailed, I wish you continued this throughout the background, I noticed the butterfly has a feather/leather like texture, I find that a little odd, th general look of the butterfly isn't as crisp as other parts of the drawing,

Aside from this, it's well done

Airy

While I appreciate the imagery, the airy nature of this lofty empress, I feel like the vibe you were trying to induce was jilted a bit by the simplicity of the drawing rather than strengthened by it.

In my opinion anyway

Why I like it so much

In general the people who have been participating in the collab have been sticking rather close to the card's "traditional" imagery.

The dynamic nature of someone who tempers metals and the just step away into a field of thought of your own rather than one paved for you makes me really like this.

And the medium in which you portrayed this.

Pretty awesome

I wish the robot's fire influenced the background's lighting and the robot's coloring a bit, and maybe more sporadic limb-flailing would strengthen the dynamic nature of a malfunction. Really nicely done.

Pretty good

I think the weird designs on the viewer's bottom left and upper right are kinda random and unnecessary, and a nice background would make this piece stronger.

GabrieleB responds:

This is totally true xP i agree^^

Quite nice

Dunno what the kanji is all about but this is pretty awesome. I think the coloring of the robot is kinda weird in comparison to the coloring of everything else and it's backdrop doesn't really influence the coloring of the bot it seems, but it's pretty cool regardless.
