[Fight or go extinct]

A good start, I like the line of action, but the lack of real values makes it really flat, I would like to see more darks and lights to push the perspective. And the outlining kind of ruins it for me too, if you were going to shade this then use the shading to represent the edges, it's a very good sketch to start the next step on but doesn't feel finished.

I think the weird designs on the viewer's bottom left and upper right are kinda random and unnecessary, and a nice background would make this piece stronger.

Your coloring technique is good but your proportions, especially the eys... I know anime has a style to it and proportions are distorted for fun but LORD.

I'd say work on your anatomy a bit more, use references and calm down those fricken plates on her face.

Ehh, giant eyes are my thing so XD If its not your thing I understand, I realize these eyes are like impossibly huge. Its like girls I draw are nocturnal with such large eyes XD Anyways, I understand I need to work on proportions/anatomy a bit, I've noticed that her waist seems a bit too high to me after looking at some more among some other things. Thanks for the review and criticism :D

Wish I there was a bit more texture to him, right now he looks like he's out of a cut scene from FF7 (no I mean like FF7s graphics because 9 was an improvement).

I see by your gallery you do these kinds of fan art semi-frequently, I'd prefer you taking the character and making it your own, but that's just preference.

I don't agree... hes very textured, burlap, wool, and leather, with even stitching. Did you zoom in? The quality did lower when I posted it on NG. I think you should play ff7 and ff 9 again. I wouldn't really want to make quite an iconic character like this my own, If I was doing one of the black waltz mages, maybe, but not Vivi.

Yeah but usually whenever I color something it ends up being a fail. For this i just wanted extra emphasis on the lava and the eyes.

The setting fits the character very nicely and even better, your style works with Pierrot better than how I draw him!

This isn't one of those "Thanks...ugh" type reviews either, it's oozing with sincerity ;D.

Thanks, Knoc. The setting doesn't make sense, Pierrot doesn't make sense, so I guess it makes a good fit. I like the way you draw him more, but I felt like I did a decent job with it. He does fit my style, I'll admit that.
