I have a friend, she and her guy think art is "everything" and while that makes for a pleasant poem I vehemently disagree.
I mean, if "art is everything" what the hell is so special about what I do? About what every "artist" does?
I can appreciate that they are trying top be deep, but to be realistic, it's very difficult to see the art in everything, if anything, it's difficult seeing the art in what some artists create.
Now, if art was everything wouldn't that just make for more nihilists anyway? Because if the people who have a mission to create art are basically harbingers of nothingness, because there isn't any point in manufacturing art if it's made naturally, and unintentionally right?
The more I contemplate this conundrum the more I'm lead to believe that those two are in fact, stupid. No offense to their plight of rigorous socratic learning but keep the college psuedo intellectualistic ideals in your classes.

That is the stupidest statement ever. I clicked on this post to call you stupid, but it turns out your calling them stupid.
